We are proud to announce the completion of our 2023-2026 Strategic Plan, funded through a Resiliency Grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation.

This new Plan is the result of a comprehensive planning and consultative process led by Jenny Ginder of Ginder Consulting, who was thoughtful in getting input from various stakeholders within the organization, such as choristers, choir parents and guardians, staff, board members, volunteers, and the wider choral community.

After surviving the pandemic, HCC is constantly looking to address the evolving needs within our community. We believe our Strategic Plan will improve programming to meet these needs and realize a more sustainable future.

“The support of Ontario Trillium Foundation and its resiliency funding has been instrumental in allowing the Hamilton Children’s Choir to engage in such a much-needed exercise that offers the HCC a better direction. The timing of this exercise was also valuable because it created a great opportunity to gather and reconnect as an organization,” said Tricia LeClair, HCC Executive Director.

We hope you look forward to the future of HCC as much as we do. Explore our Strategic Plan here.

Land
Recognition

We recognize the HCC is located on the traditional territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, the Haudenosaunee, Anishinnabe and Huron-Wendat peoples, covered by the Between the Lakes Treaty (No. 3) between the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and the British Crown in 1792. As treaty people on this land, we encourage our community to join us on the continuing journey of learning more about our responsibilities for truth and reconciliation.
