The timing is intentional; GivingTuesday follows Black Friday and Cyber Monday, days of massive consumer consumption in the US and Canada. To counter the excess, GivingTuesday has become a worldwide day of kindness, good deeds, and generous giving to those who need help.

At HCC, donations help support our program delivery, including our ability to provide bursaries for young people whose families are facing financial barriers. Typically, our program fees only cover approximately 30% of our actual programming expenses, so we rely on donors like you to help offset these necessary expenses.

This year, GivingTuesday is deeply important to us at HCC as Hamilton’s Incite Foundation for the Arts is matching all donations made to HCC. Your gift will be effectively doubled!
