We’re happy to say that we’re bringing back two of our programs that have been on a little bit of a break: Poka and Profunda!

Poka is a parent-supported music and movement class for toddlers. In this class, we will delight in the endless energy of your children, their joy in bouncing, rocking, and dancing with you, and in seeing them develop in this wonderful, musical environment! This program is for children aged 18 months – 3 years. Learn more about Poka here.

Profunda looks a little bit different than you may remember it. We invite tenors and basses (from ages 13 – 24) to join HCC’s changed voice cohort alongside larger SATB ensembles. You can sing tenor, baritone, or bass… or something slightly in between! But if the bass clef is your comfort zone, this is the project for you! What’s different? Profunda is now a series of 8-week choral projects culminating in a performance with an established SATB choir. And guess what? It’s completely FREE! Learn more about Profunda here.

Land
Recognition

We recognize the HCC is located on the traditional territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, the Haudenosaunee, Anishinnabe and Huron-Wendat peoples, covered by the Between the Lakes Treaty (No. 3) between the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and the British Crown in 1792. As treaty people on this land, we encourage our community to join us on the continuing journey of learning more about our responsibilities for truth and reconciliation.
