What do butterflies, kites, fish, and clovers have in common?

On June 13, Ilumini presents How To Build a Tree — a journey across Turtle Island, Europe, and Asia through music, story, and imagination in 14 languages.

Joined by Jamie Drake (percussion), Laura Pin (piano), Phillip Darley (cello), Brent Fifield (organ), and conductor Melanie Tellez, this concert explores grief, awe, joy, and resilience through song.

Land
Recognition

We recognize the HCC is located on the traditional territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, the Haudenosaunee, Anishinnabe and Huron-Wendat peoples, covered by the Between the Lakes Treaty (No. 3) between the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and the British Crown in 1792. As treaty people on this land, we encourage our community to join us on the continuing journey of learning more about our responsibilities for truth and reconciliation.
