Hamilton Children’s Choir (HCC) announces the retirement of Patricia LeClair, who has served as the Executive Director since September 2007.

Tricia LeClair has been an integral part of Hamilton Children’s Choir for 17 years, leading the organization with unwavering dedication and vision. Under her leadership, Hamilton Children’s Choir has achieved numerous milestones and expanded its impact on choral music education and performance.

Throughout her tenure, Tricia LeClair has demonstrated exceptional leadership, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence. She has been instrumental in HCC’s growth internationally and within the Hamilton arts community, leaving a lasting legacy that will continue to benefit Hamilton Children’s Choir and its stakeholders.

Tricia LeClair will be remembered for her passion for inclusivity, meaningful partnerships within the city of Hamilton, and bold risk-taking for worthy artistic pursuits. Tricia leaves behind a strong foundation for her successor to build upon and the entire organization extends its deepest gratitude for her outstanding service.

We recognize the HCC is located on the traditional territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, the Haudenosaunee, Anishinnabe and Huron-Wendat peoples, covered by the Between the Lakes Treaty (No. 3) between the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and the British Crown in 1792. As treaty people on this land, we encourage our community to join us on the continuing journey of learning more about our responsibilities for truth and reconciliation.
