Join HCC’s Ilumini, Esprimas, Lumo, Esplori, and Komenci choirs for an inspiring performance that celebrates both sacred and secular winter traditions.
The concert will feature Ilumini performing Ceremony of Carols — the very first piece presented by HCC in 1975 — alongside a lively selection of contemporary music. Special guest Rachel Nolan will accompany Ilumini on harp.
We’re also thrilled to revive the cherished tradition of audience carol singalongs, and to introduce a new community ritual with a welcome song by Cree-Dene composer Sherryl Sewepagaham.
Our 4PM performance will feature our Komenci, Esplori, Esprimas, Lumo, and Ilumini ensembles.
Our 7PM will see our Esplori, Esprimas, Lumo, and Ilumini ensembles will return to the stage.
