We are absolutely thrilled to announce our annual winter concert, “In The House With Nobody Else,” an original choral re-imagination of the cherished John Hughes holiday classic, “Home Alone.”
Narrated by the incomparable , this one-of-a-kind concert will showcase arrangements of the classic music from the film, complemented by original compositions by talented Canadian composers. The performance brings together the extraordinary voices of HCC’s Komenci, Esplori, Esprimas, and Ilumini choirs, promising an unforgettable journey where the spirit of the season meets mischief and adventure.
HCC Artistic Director Melanie Tellez notes, “I am thrilled that Tom Wilson is supporting HCC through our collaboration on ‘In The House With Nobody Else.’ It is very special for our young singers to have the opportunity to work with someone who harnesses his creativity and artistry across so many mediums, is so talented and iconic, and is known for active participation in his community. This is both the pinnacle of artistic collaboration and a very meaningful community connection.”
“In The House With Nobody Else” will offer two performances on Saturday, December 16th, 2023, at Hamilton’s Central Presbyterian Church. Tickets are available online in advance, or at the door if tickets remain.
